At times in my life there has come what I call multiple warheads. The devil can’t get me with just one bomb anymore so he comes at me in multiples. Have you ever experienced those kinds of attacks?
Roberts Liardon tells us that after a few heated battles, you’ll become a veteran in war and the devil’s attacks won’t bother you as much. I’m immune to most of the devil’s attacks. It doesn’t bother me when people want to fight with me. I’ve been through money wars, rumor wars and spirit wars — I’ve been through every kind of war you can think of. These kinds of wars don’t bother me anymore. When they come at me I just say, “Get a number and get in line! Next!”
Roberts Liardon tells us that the first couple of times I went through a war it was a big deal, but after the third or fourth time, it didn’t register anymore. I just went out and enjoyed a delightful meal.
Some of you are not at that place yet and you’re facing some major battles. What happens when you’re in trouble and no one is around at midnight to help you? What happens when the one you’re calling doesn’t give you that word of encouragement that gets you through another hour? What happens when those who call you on the phone only give you more bad reports?
